24:9. וַיָּקָם דָּוִד אַחֲרֵי־כֵן וַיֵּצֵא מֵן־הַמְּעָרָה וַיִּקְרָא אַחֲרֵי־שָׁאוּל לֵאמֹר אֲדֹנִי הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיַּבֵּט שָׁאוּל אַחֲרָיו וַיִּקֹּד דָּוִד אַפַּיִם אַרְצָה וַיִּשְׁתָּחוּ ׃ ס

24:9. ט ויאמר דוד לשאול למה תשמע את דברי אדם לאמר  הנה דוד מבקש רעתך

24:9. וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד לְשָׁאוּל לָמָּה תִשְׁמַע אֶת־דִּבְרֵי אָדָם לֵאמֹר הִנֵּה דָוִד מְבַקֵּשׁ רָעָתֶךָ׃

24:9. ‏וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ לְשָׁא֔וּל לָ֧מָּה תִשְׁמַ֛ע אֶת־דִּבְרֵ֥י אָדָ֖ם לֵאמֹ֑ר הִנֵּ֣ה דָוִ֔ד מְבַקֵּ֖שׁ רָעָתֶֽךָ׃

24:9. David said to Saul, "Why do you pay attention when men say, 'David is seeking to do you harm'?

24:9. Then he shouted to Saul, "Why do you listen to the people who say I am trying to harm you?

24:9. And David said to Saul, Wherefore hearkenest thou to mens words, saying, Behold, David seeketh thy hurt?

24:9. And David said to Saul, "Why do you listen to the words of men who say, 'Behold, David seeks your harm'?

24:9. And David said to Saul, Wherefore hearest thou men’s words, saying, Behold, David seeketh thy hurt?

24:9. And David said to Saul, "Why do you listen to the words of men who say, `Behold, David seeks your hurt'?

24:9. And David said to Saul, Wherefore hearkenest thou to men-s words, saying, Behold, David seeketh thy hurt?

24:9. And David saith to Saul, `Why dost thou hear the words of man, saying, Lo, David is seeking thine evil?

24:9. David said to Saul, "Why do you listen when people say, 'David plans to hurt you'?

24:9. David said to Saul, Why listen you to men\'s words, saying, Behold, David seeks your hurt?
